A Night at the Opera

Driftwood's charm captivates the extremely wealthy Mrs. Claypool, who longs to fit in seamlessly with the elite cultural crowd. To make this happen, she decides to donate a hefty sum to the New York Opera, with the funds earmarked for hiring the renowned Italian tenor Rodolfo Lasspari. But Driftwood and the theater director can't see eye to eye on which tenor to choose. The result is one of the Marx Brothers' most hilarious films, complete with the iconic ship cabin scene.
