Ryan is an uptight nerd who feels all life should be planned out to the very minute. Jennifer is a quirky funny girl who is out to enjoy life as an adventure. Ryan and Jennifer meet a few times over the years before finally settling into a friendship at college. They start to think maybe they should be dating after a string of failed romances for both.
