"Continental" presents the interconnected lives of four characters following an unexpected disappearance. Lucette is a woman awaiting the return of her husband, while Louis is a young traveling salesman grappling with the pressures of a new job that strains his family life. Chantal, a hotel receptionist, aspires to find someone special to share her life with, and Marcel, an ex-gambler, faces the challenges of aging. Although their stories are told separately, they ultimately intersect and reflect one another. This bittersweet black comedy offers a fresh perspective on human vulnerability and the fragile bonds that connect us.
