After a public incident spirals out of control, disgraced actress Lana Cruz finds herself ostracized by Hollywood and forced to return to Mexico in a bid to salvage her career with a new film project. Determined to prove she still has star power, Lana encounters an unexpected challenge in the form of Polly, her most devoted fan who also turns out to be her greatest obstacle.
