Vash is actually quite the opposite, he is gentle, caring. He goes through great lengths to save the lives of the innocent without taking the lives of the guilty. Everyone who gets near Vash seems to get hurt; sometimes he needs to push people away, to save them. Vash sure is a lot of things, but a heartless fiend is not one of them!
